“Graduation 2011”


Many years ago lacks couldn’t afford to learn. If they tried to learn they were hung by nuces. Now we can learn for free. So why couldn’t why don’t we want to learn? We aren’t being killed for it. That’s why I feel I will graduate in 2011 because I’m focused. I want to make my mother proud of me. I want to show my African ancestors I made it, they fought for freedom and I’m free.
For starters I want my African ancestors to see what they fought for, for so many years. I want them to see their prodgy suceed. I want them to know their work was not a waste of time. I don’t want them to regret the decision to fight for us to be free.
Secondly I want to make my mom proud of me. I want her to see what her baby girl can do. I want her to know what I am capable of doing when I put my mind to it. I want my family to be proud of me.
In conclusion if my ancestors can fight for their rights to learn, why can’t I? They were hung by nuces. They were killed. They were even beaten. I want my mom to see me at each graduation and shead a tear. I want my family to see what they didn’t do but I did. I want them to be proud of me.
